In 2016-17, 15,000 tickets were booked per minute, while 18,000 tickets were booked per minute in 2017-18 and 20,000 per minute in 2018-19.

IRCTC did this big update

However, only two tickets can be booked in a day from 8 am to 10 am from one user ID.
