Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches ‘Self-reliant India Innovation Challenge’ chance to win 20 lakh rupees

New Delhi, Tech Desk. To make the country digital and self-reliant, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a step forward and launched the ‘Self-reliant India Innovation Challenge’. In this challenge, people will get a chance to win prizes up to 20 lakh rupees. PM Modi himself has shared the information about this challenge through a post on his Twitter. This challenge is divided into many different categories, including challenges ranging from photo editing to gaming apps.

This challenge has been launched by NITI Aayog under the partnership of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Atal Innovation Mission. In the ‘Self-reliant India Innovation Challenge’ people will have to create mobile games, social media and photo-video editing apps. A maximum reward of up to Rs 20 lakh can be received under the challenge. This app has been given the mantra named ‘Make in India for India and the World’ and aims to inspire people to create Make in India apps. 



If you also want to participate in the ‘Self-reliant India Innovation Challenge’, then for this you will have to register by visiting the innovate.mygov.in website. The last date to apply here is 18 July 2020. The application will then be screened and the process will run from 20 to 24 July. It will then be evaluated by the jury from 27 July to 3 August.
