PPF will get 7.1 percent interest
Let us tell you that in the Public Provident Fund scheme, the government has not made any change in the interest rates, that is, you will get the same benefit of interest on PPF as before. This is the 12th consecutive quarter when interest rates on PPF have not changed. On this scheme, the government will give the benefit of interest at the rate of 7.1 percent only.
How much interest is being received on which scheme?
- The interest rate on Senior Citizen Savings Scheme was increased from 8 per cent to 8.2 per cent.
- The interest rate on National Savings Certificate (NSC) was increased from 7 per cent to 7.7 per cent.
- The interest rate on Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana was increased from 7.6 per cent to 8 per cent.
- Kisan Vikas Patra has been increased from 7.2 (120 months) to 7.5 (115 months).
You can invest even 500 rupees
You can invest up to Rs 500 in PPF in at least 1 year. If you deposit up to Rs 1.5 lakh in PPF in 1 year, then you get the benefit of tax exemption in it. If you want, you can deposit money in it every month
