Post Office PPF Account: You can deposit money online, know the safest and easiest way

Post office account holders can easily conduct banking transactions through India Post Payment Bank (IPPB). Through the IPPB, one can easily check his balance, transfer money and do other financial transactions, in which case the customer will not have to go to the post office.

Some of the features of IPPB are Reckering Deposit (RD), Public Provident Fund (PPF), Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA) Post Office Savings Deposit Scheme. Post office account holders can deposit money online through India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) app. Actually, during the time of coronavirus epidemic people are refraining from getting out of their homes, post office PPF account holders can deposit money in their PPF account through IPPB.




How to transfer money to post office PPF through IPPB

  • Fund your bank account to IPPB account.
  • Go to DOP Services.
  • From here you can choose the option of Recurring Deposit, Public Provident Fund,
  • Sukanya Samriddhi Account, Recurring Deposit.
  • If you want to deposit money in your PPF account, then click on Provident Fund.
  • Enter your PPF account number and DOP customer ID.
  • Specify the amount you want to deposit and click on ‘Payment’ option.
  • The IPPB will then notify you for the successful payment transfer made through the mobile application.
  • You can opt for various post office investment options made by India Post and make regular payments through IPPB Basic Savings Account.
  • You can transfer funds from other bank accounts to IPPB using the app.
  • DakPay Digital Payment App

Last month, the government launched the postpay digital payment app. It can also be used by post office and IPPB customers. DakPay provides digital financial and ancillary banking services offered by India Post and IPPB. It also facilitates services such as sending money, scanning QR codes, and making digital payments for merchants.
