For the festive season, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has given a big gift to its customers. The bank has removed all service and processing fees from its retail products. This will benefit those customers who are planning to take a car or home loan from PNB.
What the bank said: The bank said that as part of its festive season offer, it will waive all service and processing fees, besides other charges, on retail products such as home loans, car loans, myproperty loans, personal loans, pension loans and gold loans. In addition, the bank is offering personal loans starting at an interest rate of 8.95 per cent, which is among the lowest in the industry. Apart from this, the bank is offering attractive interest rates starting from 6.80 percent on ‘Home Loan’ and 7.15 percent on ‘Car Loan’.
PNB has also announced the offer of Home Loan Top-up at an attractive rate of interest. It said that customers can avail these offers till December 31, 2021.
Shock to these customers: Punjab National Bank has given a shock to its savings account holders. In fact, the bank has cut the interest rate on savings account deposits by 10 basis points (bps). Now the new interest rate will be 2.90 percent per annum. This will be applicable to both existing and new savings account holders. This interest rate is applicable from September 1.
