Punjab National Bank: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has shocked the customers. PNB has reduced the interest rate on FD. Punjab National Bank gives FD to common citizens from 7 days to 10 years. The bank has reduced the interest on FD by 0.20 percent. These new rates have come into effect from June 1, 2025

Punjab National Bank is giving this much interest on FD of less than Rs 3 crore

  • 7 days to 14 days: For general public – 3.50 percent; For senior citizens – 4.00 percent
  • 15 days to 29 days: For general public – 3.50 percent; For senior citizens – 4.00 percent
  • 30 days to 45 days: For general public – 3.50 percent; For senior citizens – 4.00 percent
  • 46 days to 60 days: For general public – 4.50 percent; For senior citizens – 5.00 per cent
  • 61 days to 90 days: General public – 4.50 per cent; Senior citizens – 5.00 per cent
  • 91 days to 179 days: General public – 5.50 per cent; Senior citizens – 6 per cent
  • 180 days to 270 days: General public – 6.00 per cent; Senior citizens – 6.50 per cent
  • 271 days to 302 days: General public – 6.25 per cent; Senior citizens – 6.95 per cent
  • 303 days: General public – 6.15 per cent; Senior citizens – 7 per cent
  • 304 days to less than one year – 6.25 per cent; Senior citizens – 7 per cent
  • 1 year: General public – 6.70 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.20 per cent
  • More than 1 year to 389 days: For general public – 6.70 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.20 per cent
  • 390 days: For general public – 6.90 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.40 per cent
  • 400 days: For general public – 7.10 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.60 per cent
  • 401 days to 505 days: For general public – 6.80 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.30 per cent
  • 506 days: For general public – 6.60 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.10 per cent
  • 507 days to 2 years: For general public – 6.70 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.20 per cent
  • More than 2 years to 3 years: For general public – 6.70 per cent; For senior citizens – 7.20 percent
  • More than three years and upto 1203 days – 6.50 percent; For senior citizens – 7 percent
  • 1204 days – For general public – 6.40 percent; For senior citizens – 6.90 percent
  • 1205 days to 5 years – For general public – 6.50 percent; For senior citizens – 6.30 percent
  • 5 years to 1894 days – For general public – 6.00 percent; For senior citizens – 6.80 percent
