Punjab National Bank i.e. PNB currently offers 7.10 percent interest to general customers on 300 days FD scheme.
Under this scheme, 7.60 percent interest rate is being offered to senior citizens. Whereas 7.90 percent interest is being offered to super senior citizens.
If a normal customer makes an FD of Rs 3 lakh today for 300 days, then at the time of maturity he will get a total of Rs 3,17,506.85. In this, Rs 17,506.85 will be given as interest.
If a senior citizen makes an FD of Rs 3 lakh today for 300 days, then at the time of maturity he will get Rs 3,18,739.73, of which Rs 18,739.73 will be the interest amount.
Whereas if a super senior citizen makes an FD of Rs 3 lakh today for 300 days, then on maturity he will get Rs 3,19,479.45. The interest amount in this is Rs 19,479.45.
