In the all-party meeting, amidst the ongoing controversy over new farm laws, PM Narendra Modi said that the government is ready to discuss all issues. In this discussion, talks will be held on all subjects and all parties will get a chance to speak. In the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the offer made by Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar to the farmers is still there. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government is always ready to talk to the farmers.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that there was an all-party meeting under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, almost all the parties took part in the meeting. The opposition has demanded that there should be discussion in Lok Sabha apart from the bill and the government agrees to it. The opposition has also demanded a discussion on the farmers’ issue, for which we also agree.
An all-party meeting is held before the beginning of every session of Parliament to smooth the functioning. However, this time it has been done 1 day after the session starts on 29 January.
15 Feb Budget session ends
The budget session of Parliament will be held in two phases. The first phase will end on 15 February and the second phase will be held from 8 March to 8 April. During this, two shift parliament proceedings will be held. In the morning, proceedings will be held in the Rajya Sabha and in the evening in the Lok Sabha.
