PMO issued statement,
PM will inaugurate the prestigious week celebrations of Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi at around 10.30 am on June 6, 2022, the PMO said in a statement. “The Prime Minister will also issue a special series of coins of Rs 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 and Rs 20,” it said.

Under the special series, these coins will have the logo of AKAM. “These special series of coins will have the theme of the AKAM logo and will be easily recognizable for visually impaired persons,” the PMO statement said. Notably, this week is being celebrated as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM) from June 6 to 11, 2022.
In addition to the special series of coins, the PM will also launch the National Portal for Credit-Linked Government Schemes – Jan Samarth Portal, a one-stop digital portal linking government credit schemes. Jan Samarth Portal is a first of its kind platform which directly connects the beneficiaries with the lenders.
