  • Strategic roads running on war footing

India’s strength and strategy have forced China to step back on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). In the midst of this big news, Aaj Tak has reached the place where Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited. Aaj Tak’s team arrived in Neemu, 35 km from Leh.

The work of constructing strategic bridges and roads near LAC is going on a war footing. The Border Roads Organization, or BRO, is rapidly constructing strategic roads and bridges. Work on 40 bridges is going on in 3 years, out of which 20 bridges are ready. There is also a goal to construct 66 strategic roads by 2022.

Aaj Tak’s team also reached the place where new strong bridges are being built in place of the old bridge, so that the heavy trucks and tanks of the army can pass easily. With this, Aaj Tak’s team also reached Khardung La, the world’s highest paved road. This highway connects Siachen and Daulat Beg Oldi.

In fact, the biggest reason for the confrontation between India and China is the rapid construction of strategic roads and bridges from India. China is nervous as to why the Indian Army is building strategic roads and bridges so fast. BRO is playing an important role in road-bridge construction.

Aaj Tak’s team also reached the Neemu-Daraka road. This road is being constructed rapidly. Strategically, this road is very important and is considered one of the ambitious projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With the construction of this new road, the movement of Indian soldiers up to Siachen will be possible without the sight of Pakistan.

After this, Aaj Tak’s team reached the bridge of Neemu-Khardung La, whose BRO has completed the work in a record three months. There was an old iron bridge here, which has been removed and a new bridge has been built, so that the heavy vehicles of the army have no problem in reaching Siachen or Daulat Beg Oldi.
