PM Kisan Yojana: Earlier the service e-KYC on the Kisan Portal was closed for some time, but now this facility has started again on the official website. You can complete your e-KYC sitting at home.


PM Kisan Yojana: The central government transfers 6 thousand rupees annually to the accounts of farmers of the country under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana). Under PM Kisan Yojana, till now ten installments have arrived in the account of farmers. While the 11th installment is also going to come soon in the account of the farmers. But it is important to know that if they have not completed their e-KYC till now, they will not get their 11th installment.

Earlier the service e-KYC on Kisan Portal was stopped for some time, and people were asked to complete their KYC by visiting their nearest Common Service Center. But now this facility has started again on the official website and you can complete your e-KYC sitting at home. The last date for e-KYC is 22 May 2022.

Get e-KYC done like this sitting at home

For this, first of all visit the official portal of PM Kisan Yojana https://pmkisan.gov.in/. Here on the homepage, click on ‘Farmers Corner’ and then select ‘e-KYC’ option. After that you will see a new page. Here you have to fill your Aadhar card information and then click on the search tab. After this a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit OTP’. After this your e-KYC will be completed.

Registered farmers get benefits

Under PM Kisan Yojana, all registered farmers get Rs 6,000 annually as PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. This amount is released into the account of farmers in three installments of Rs.2,000. These installments are transferred in the account of farmers at an interval of every four months.

Know how to check PM Kisan Status

First of all go to pmkisan.gov.in. Click on Farmers Corner on the right side of the website. Then click on Beneficiary Status. To check the status, enter the details like Aadhar number, mobile number. After completion of the process, you can check your name in the list.
