PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a government scheme, which was started by the Modi government. The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial help to the small farmers of the country for farming. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the government helps the eligible farmers of 2000 rupees every 4 months i.e. a total of 6000 rupees in 3 installments in a year. PM Kisan: More than 1 benefit on single land

According to the information given on the website, if there are names of many farmer’s families on a single land holding, then all the eligible farmer families will get the benefit of separate installment under the guidelines of the scheme. However, the total annual installment limit will be Rs 6000.

PM Kisan: What is the meaning of family

Under PM Kisan Yojana, farmer family means husband, wife and their children here. It is necessary to have their name in the land record, on which land they cultivate.

PM Kisan: If the land is in the name of the father

If a farmer cultivates a field in the name of his father instead of doing it in his own name, then he will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana. He will have to get that farm in his name.

PM Kisan: In condition of getting pension

Retired pensioners who get monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 will not get this benefit.

PM Kisan: Farming instead of rent on other’s farm

If a farmer cultivates on another’s field in return for rent or for giving half the crop, then he will not get the benefit of this scheme.
