PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Update: Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government helps farmers financially. The government sends 6000 rupees directly to the accounts of farmers in a year. This amount is given in three installments of 2000-2000 rupees. Till now 9 installments have been sent in the account of farmers. Can husband and wife take advantage of the scheme?

Both husband and wife cannot take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Benefits). If someone does this, the government will recover from him, calling him a fake. In fact, many such farmers have come under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana scheme. Those who do not fulfill the terms and conditions of this scheme and are taking advantage of PM Kisan. The government is taking strict action against such farmers and is recovering the entire money taken from them.

Therefore, if husband-wife, parents, son-daughter are taking advantage of the installment of PM Kisan Yojana in a house, then they will have to return this money. Because under the rules, only one member of the family can get the installment under PM Kisan. If husband, wife or any other member is found doing this in a family, then they can be booked for fraud and they can also have to face jail.

Have to deposit money here

According to government data, more than 42 lakh ineligible people in the country have wrongly taken money under PM Kisan. This amount is more than Rs 2900 crore. 554 crores will be recovered from ineligible farmers of PM Kisan scheme in Assam, 258 crores from ineligible farmers of Uttar Pradesh, 425 crores from ineligible farmers of Bihar and Rs 437 crores from ineligible farmers of Punjab.

Any farmer family who has raised the money of the scheme in violation of the rules, they will have to deposit the money in cash in the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture. On depositing the money, they will get the receipt, after which their name data will also be removed from the portal.

They can’t get benefit

1. There are many such provisions which make farmers ineligible. If someone in the farmer’s family pays tax, then the benefit of this scheme will not be available. That is, if any of the husband or wife has paid income tax last year, then they will not get the benefit of this scheme.

2. If a farmer is not using his agricultural land for agricultural work, but is doing other work or does farming work on the fields of others, and the field does not belong to him. Such farmers are also not entitled to take advantage of this scheme. If a farmer is doing farming, but the field is not in his name but in the name of his father or grandfather, then he will also not get the benefit of this scheme.


3. If someone is the owner of agricultural land, but he is a government employee or has retired, sitting or former MP, MLA, minister, then such people are also ineligible for the benefit of the farmer scheme. Professional registered doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants or their family members also come in the list of ineligible people. Income tax paying families will also not get the benefit of this scheme.
