PM Awas Yojana: In the accounts of the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana, PM Modi transferred Rs 700 crore to their bank accounts.
Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday transferred Rs 700 crore through DBT in the bank accounts of more than 1 lakh 47 thousand beneficiaries of Tripura. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G), grants have been given to the beneficiaries for their pucca houses. Rs 700 crore was deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. PM Modi addressed this program through video conferencing.
After transferring the first installment to the bank accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin, PM Modi also talked to the beneficiaries. PM Modi said that for the last 7 years, it is our endeavor that everyone should get the benefit of the government’s scheme. Earlier, only a few people used to get the benefit of this scheme of the government.
PM Modi spoke to Anita, the beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin. PM Modi said that I can give you a pucca house, but only you can give a strong future to your children, so educate your children.
PM Modi asked another beneficiary whether you had to bribe someone to apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin or take the first installment. If given, tell me. On this the beneficiary said that no, I did not have to pay any bribe.
