The members themselves will be able to upload the details of their family members along with the photo on their PF account. With this right, the nominee will not have to run away on the untimely death of the PF member. As soon as the death certificate of the member is attached, the process of his final dues will start.

EPFO has issued instructions to all regional provident fund offices to make everything online on the occasion of 75 years of independence. On September 9-10, the Regional Provident Fund Office will also run a campaign to make PF members aware. Uttam Prakash, Regional PF Commissioner of EPFO ​​Headquarters, has also issued a leaflet on Friday to make e-nomination 100 percent. The three offices where 100% target will be met will also be given a citation. Along with the leaflet, EPFO ​​has also released the link for the online process for the members.

EPFO UP board member Sukhdev Prasad Mishra says that in September, it has been decided to fill the details of the nominee in hundred percent PF accounts. Till now, members have been going to the employer and registering the details of family members and nominees. It has been taking them several days also. The EPFO ​​has given the rights to change its account completely to the member itself. The member will also change the nominee. He does not need to approach his employer or HR, but the right to change the nominee will be available to those PF members whose Aadhar card has been uploaded along with UAN of PF account.

Understand the complete process step by step

  1. Official website of EPFO- https//www.epfindia.gov.in for e-nomination of nominee
  2. -Member has to keep the size of the photo 3.5 cm-4.5 cm to link the nominee with his PF account.
  3. Aadhar card, bank account number, address, IFSC code number of the nominee will have to be scanned in advance and the file has to be created.

Nominations can be filled like this

  • The PF member has to go to the service page by clicking on the official website of EPFO.
  • Here you have to click on the member page and then login with UAN and password.
  • After this process, the PF member has to click on the Manage tab of e-nomination to start the process.
  • – On clicking Save here, clicking Yes, you will have to click on Add Family Detail.
  • After this you will get the option to fill all the details on your nomination detail block.
  • After completing this process, click on the e-Sign to generate it.
  • Here, as soon as the e-sign is generated, the OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the member.
  • After filling the OTP has to be submitted. Keep in mind that you do not have to share this OTP with anyone.
