PF interest rate: If interest has not come in your PF account yet, then now you can make a complaint sitting at home. PF account holders are given the benefit of interest on their deposits by the central government.



The Central Government has fixed the rate of interest on the Provident Fund at 8.5 percent for the financial year 2021-22 (Financial Year 2020-21). EPFO has started crediting the interest for the financial year 2020-21 in your accounts. So you check immediately whether interest has come in your account or not-

Check balance through missed call
If you want to check balance through missed call, then for this you have to give just one missed call on 011-22901406 from registered mobile number on EPFO. After this balance message will come on your registered mobile number. This message will come to you from AM-EPFOHO.

You can also check with Umang app
Apart from this, you can also find out the balance of your PF account through the UMANG app, how much interest has been transferred to your account. First of all you have to install UMANG app on your phone. After this, first click on the member and after that enter the UAN number and password.

Complain in this way if interest is not coming
First of all you have to go to https://epfigms.gov.in/ website. Here you have to click on ‘Register Grievance’ to register a complaint. Now a new page will open. Now you will see many options like PF Member, EPF Pensioner, Employer. You have to select one option from this. Now the name of the PF member has to be selected. After that enter the UAN number and security code and click on ‘Get Details’. Now you will see all the details related to your UAN.

Enter OTP
After that click on ‘Get OTP’. OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter OTP and click on submit. After verification of OTP, you will be asked to enter personal details. After you have filled your personal details, then you have to click on the PF number on which the complaint has to be lodged.

Documents to be uploaded
After that you will get a popup. Here you have to choose between PF Officer, Employer, Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme or Ex-Pension. Upload the details and required documents and click on submit. After this your complaint will be registered and the complaint registration number will come on the registered mobile number and e-mail.
