Pensioners New Portal: The Central Government has recently launched an integrated portal for pensioners in collaboration with Bank of India. Bank of India Registered Portal connects the pension processing and payment services of five banks in a single window. On this portal, pensioners can submit the status of Life Certificate, monthly salary slip check and Form 16.
In a statement, the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) said that the portal has been launched to digitalize the pension service and enhance the welfare of pensioners. This step provides a single window to the pension processing and payment services of five banks for their services, under which you can avail many facilities.

Digital settlement of pensioners is being done through various means like Digital Life Certificate and Bhavishya Portal. The Bhavishya platform is a key component of the portal, which aims to achieve end-to-end digitalization of pension processing and payments. Which provides the facility to issue PPO electronically on behalf of the retired person and submit it online till it goes to DigiLocker. ‘Bhavishya’ platform was made mandatory for all government departments on 1 July 2017.
