Pensioners Alert! The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has given another chance to the pensioners who have not yet got their annual physical verification done, and has fixed the last date as 31st May 2025.

Rajasthan Pensioners Pension Update 2025: There is important news for lakhs of pensioners of Rajasthan. The pensioners (elderly, widow and specially abled persons) who have not yet got the physical verification done under the Social Security Pension should get it done before 31 May 2025, otherwise the pension may get stuck from June or they may have to remain deprived of pension.

The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has extended the period of annual physical verification of beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme to 31 May for the year 2025. For the demand and convenience of the beneficiaries under the scheme, the department has extended the last date of verification from 30 April to 31 May. 2025. Beneficiaries should get their verification done immediately so that there is no interruption in the pension.

Verification can be done through these mediums

• Pension holder can do biometric or face recognition for his/her annual physical verification through e-Mitra Kiosk, e-Mitra Plus Center and ‘Rajasthan Social Pension & Aadhar FaceRD’ mobile app.
• The annual physical verification can be done on the basis of face recognition of the beneficiary through the Android mobile app (Rajasthan Social Pension and Aadhar FaceRD) developed for it.
• Such pensioners who are unable to go out of their homes for annual physical verification due to old age or physical illness can get the annual physical verification done at their homes through a mobile app by the concerned sanctioning officers.
• In case of any difficulty in biometric verification by impression, pensioners can get their annual verification done by appearing at the sub-division office with their PPO, Aadhar Card or Jan Aadhar Card.
• Physical verification of pensioners who are deprived of fingerprint biometrics can also be done through iris scan.
• If the pensioner appears in person before the pension sanctioning officer (Development Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer), physical verification can be done on the basis of OTP received on the registered mobile of the pensioner by the officer himself after entering the PPO number of the concerned pensioner on the SSP portal through his own SSO ID.

In case of any problem in the annual physical verification of the beneficiaries in the pension scheme, the pensioner can get information by contacting the development officer of the concerned Gram Panchayat, Municipal Commissioner and the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
