Paytm is hiring candidates for the Business Analytics post at their Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore locations. Business analytics focuses on data, statistical analysis and reporting to help investigate and analyze business performance, provide insights, and drive recommendations to improve performance.

- Identifying areas of improvements/cost saving/reduction/Automation opportunities opportunities
- Interface with the business/ops for rigorous follow-up for implementation of the recommendation/action plans and providing support for the same
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data
- Developing insightful analysis about business and their strategic and operational implications
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels to establish current and ongoing data support and reporting needs
- Effectively translate data to actionable items
- Analyze data from multiple angles, looking for trends that highlight areas of concerns or opportunities
- Design, create and deliver data reports, dashboards, extract and/or deliver presentations to strategic questions
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Build and maintain analytical reports and dashboards to provide a deep view of performance of FASTAG funnel, user journeys and campaigns
- Should have 3 to 6 years of work experience in a business intelligence and analytics role in financial services, ecommerce, consulting or technology domain.
- Understanding the broad range of Paytm data resources, and knowing the right ones to use for the analytical problems at hand
- Evangelizing data driven decision making within the team and to business & product owners
- Identifying data needs and driving data quality improvement projects.
- Proficient in SQL/Hive and deep expertise in building scalable business reporting solutions
- Past experience in optimizing business strategy, product or process using data & analytics
- Working knowledge in at least one programming language like Scala, Java or Python
Enable test and learn for understanding user behavior and target growth opportunities. - Optimize the growth campaigns and deliver comprehensive test read outs to power accurate decisions
- Demonstrated ability to directly partner with business owners to understand product requirements
- Effective spoken and written communication to senior audiences, including strong data presentation and visualization skills
