Pakistan Airstrikes Afghanistan Latest News: Pakistan, which is acting as a mediator in the Iran-US war, has once again launched a major attack on its neighboring country, Afghanistan. Afghan officials say that Pakistan has carried out fresh airstrikes targeting their country. At least 13 people have been killed and many others injured in these attacks.

13 people died

The most tragic thing is that innocent children have also been victims of the Pakistani airstrikes. According to an official statement from Afghan authorities, at least 13 people have been killed in this latest airstrike by Pakistan. Another 14 people were injured and suffered injuries.

Taliban chief spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, describing the airstrikes, said the attacks targeted Afghanistan’s Khost, Kunar, and Paktika provinces. He said 11 children, one woman, and an elderly man were killed in the attacks. There was no immediate confirmation or comment from Pakistan.

Meanwhile, these nefarious acts of Pakistan have enraged Afghanistan. The Afghan government says that Pakistan has committed “war crimes” by attacking border provinces, killing civilians including children. Sharing pictures of those killed in the Pakistani attack, a Taliban government spokesperson wrote – War crimes: Last night, the Pakistani army once again violated Afghan airspace and bombed civilian homes in Kunar, Khost and Paktika provinces. Due to these attacks, 11 children, a woman and an elderly man were killed, while 14 other women and children were injured. We strongly condemn this humanitarian crime and attack.

Deadly fighting has been raging between Pakistan and Afghanistan for several months since late February, leaving hundreds dead. The conflict escalated after Afghanistan launched a cross-border attack inside Pakistan in retaliation for Pakistani airstrikes inside Afghanistan.

Pakistan accuses Afghanistan of harboring extremists who carry out deadly attacks within Pakistan, particularly the Pakistan Taliban, known as the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). However, Kabul denies these allegations.

The TTP is a separate organization from, but considered an ally of, the Afghan Taliban. The Afghan Taliban has ruled Afghanistan since seizing power during the chaotic withdrawal of US-led forces in 2021.
