Vande Bharat Express train will be started between Bhopal to Lucknow, which will connect both the capitals with fast, safe and convenient travel facility. This state-of-the-art semi-high speed train will cover long distances in less time, which will save time and give passengers a better travel experience. Limited train services are still available between Bhopal and Lucknow.
At present, there is often heavy waiting in the few trains running on this route, especially in sleeper and AC categories. In such a situation, the start of Vande Bharat Express will bring relief to thousands of passengers traveling between the two cities. This train will prove to be especially beneficial for those passengers who want to complete their journey in less time.
First sitting version, later sleeper Vande Bharat
According to railway sources, initially sitting Vande Bharat Express will be run, which will have chair car and executive class facilities. After this, sleeper version can be started by November, which is being manufactured in Chennai.
Possible route and operating time
Bhopal-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will be started in the first or second week of October. The train rack will reach Bhopal in early September, after which a trial run of 10 to 15 days will be done. After the trial is successful and permission of the Railway Board is obtained, its regular operation will be started. Major stations like Bhopal, Vidisha, Bina, Jhansi and Kanpur Central can be included in the possible route.
