New update coming to Google pay, good news for those keeping credit and debit card

Google is issuing support for linking Pay Card Credit Card and Debit Card to the app. Users will have to verify the OTP received from the bank to add their card from the app.



New Delhi: Now Google (Google) is also gearing up to promote digital payment in the country. The Internet company has decided to update its payment app Google Pay (Googld Pay). Now apart from UPI, you can also add many other payment options to this payment app.



Credit and debit card also added
According to our partner zeebiz.com, Google Pay is issuing support to link Credit Card and Debit Card to the app. Users will have to verify the OTP received from the bank to add their card from the app. Once registered,Google brings a tap and payment function that can be used in NFC-enabled terminals to make touchless payments using a smartphone. This feature is currently limited to Axis Bank Credit / Debit and SBI Credit / Debit Cards. However, this feature is expected to extend to more banks in the coming time.

Payment will also be done through NFC system
Google Pay can now give users the option to pay through the NFC system. For this, Google has also created a support page which gives the details of stops of adding credit or debit card in Google Pay app. Accordingly, the option to add the card has been given under the Payment Meath section of the Settings menu.

Let us tell you, NFC is a kind of wireless data transfer process. It is known as NFC i.e. Near Field Communication. Meaning that payment can be done in a fixed scope through this process in a contactless manner.
