Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has said that before any new construction within 20 km radius of the airport, approval of Airport Authority of India (AAI) will have to be taken. YEIDA CEO RK Singh said that AAI has prepared a special color-coded zoning map. This will show that the height of the buildings around the airport is according to the prescribed limit. To implement this plan, the authority has planned to hire an expert consultant. He will survey the entire area and ensure compliance with the rules.
No more buildings will be constructed within a radius of 20 km
