New rule regarding Aadhaar card; Important information published by UIDAI

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has now changed the Aadhaar process for children. Learn how to make a children’s ID card now.


Aadhaar Card Update: Aadhaar card is a mandatory document nowadays. There is an important message regarding Aadhar. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has changed the process for obtaining the Aadhar card. The UIDAI said that the child can apply for Baal Aadhaar with the child’s birth certificate or discharge slip obtained from the hospital and the Aadhar card of one of the parents.

Aadhar card rules changed

We will tell you that Pal Aadhar is the blue type of Aadhar card issued to children under 5 years of age (Benefits of Pal Aadhar Card). Now under the new rule, children under the age of five are not required to have biometric details (fingerprint and eye scan). However, the child will be required to update their biometric details by the age of five. If not updated, Bala Aadhar will be invalid.

Required Documents

Required documents include passport, ban card, voter ID, driver’s license, NREGA work card, etc. Documents that can be used as proof of address include passport, bank account passbook, post office account statement, ration card etc.

How to get a baby milk card?

1. To get a baby milk card, first go to the UIDAI website.
2. Now select the Aadhaar card registration option.
3. Now fill in the required details like baby name and other biometric information.
4. Now enter and submit population details such as residential address, area, state.
5. Click on the ‘Appointment’ option to register for the Aadhaar card.
6. Select the nearest registration center, plan your appointment and go there on the allotted date.

Application for Aadhar Card at the Registration Center

Take the required documents like Proof of Identity (POI), Proof of Address (POA), Proof of Relationship (POR) and Date of Birth (DOB) to the Registration Center. The Aadhaar officer at the center will check all the documents. Biometric data will be taken if your child is over five years old. But for children under the age of five, biometric data is not required, only demographic data and facial recognition are required.

Milk source will be available in 90 days


After this process parents will receive an approval number to know the status of their application. After that an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number within 60 days. The milk source card will arrive in 90 days.
