Delhi Traffic Police’s new rule: According to the new rules of Delhi Traffic Police, now the person sitting in the back of the car is also required to wear a seat belt. According to the new rules, if the person sitting behind has not used the seat belt, then he will be fined Rs 1000.

New Delhi: The cases of road accidents are increasing day by day. In order to stop the rapidly increasing road accidents, planning has now started to make traffic rules strict in the capital of the country. In order to make road safety more concrete than before, Delhi Traffic Police has started a new campaign.

It is mandatory to wear seat belt at the back of the car as well.

According to the new rules of Delhi Traffic Police, now the person sitting in the back of the car is also required to wear a seat belt. According to the new rules, if the person sitting behind has not used the seat belt, then he will be fined Rs 1000. The Delhi Traffic Police started this campaign on Wednesday and on the first day of the campaign conducted checking in many areas of the capital.

Seat belt is also necessary on the back seat of the car

In the last several years, it has come to the fore that more people who sit behind have died in car accidents. The biggest reason for this is that most of the people who sit behind the car do not use seat belts, in which case they are more prone to accidents. It has also been revealed in a survey that 7 out of every 10 people in India do not use seat belts when sitting in the back of the car.

Problem in insurance claim for not wearing seat belt

You will also face problems while making an insurance claim in a car accident, if you did not wear a seat belt at the time of the accident. If a person dies in a car accident, or gets into an accident for not wearing a seat belt, then he does not get compensation. If the person sitting in the back of the car has also not put on a seat belt, then the insurance company can deduct the compensation if he gets hurt in the accident. In this situation, less amount is available under the insurance claim.
