Mumbai The Mumbai Police said that Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was to work in four films with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput but due to his unavailability Bhansali had to cast other actors in the film. Rajput (34) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in suburban Bandra on 14 June. Bandra Police is investigating the case on the basis of professional rivalry in the case and in this connection on Monday, the police questioned Bhansali.
A senior police officer investigating the case said that during interrogation, it was found that Rajput could not work with Bhansali due to non-availability of dates (no free time). Police is trying to find out why Rajput could not work with Bhansali. His contract with other ‘production houses’ is also being investigated. The officer said that all the necessary information related to the case is being investigated. The police has so far recorded the statements of 34 people including Rajput’s family, friends and colleagues.

He said tweets posted allegedly from the Twitter account of Sushant Singh Rajput, which went viral on social media just before his suicide, are awaiting a response from Twitter. He told that the footage of CCTV installed in his building has also been taken for investigation. There was no CCTV installed in his house.
