Financial benefits are to be provided to the employees for the contract period from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2010. Orders have been issued by the Directorate to release the pending arrears of teachers. With which a large amount will be seen in their account. Along with this, they will also start getting the benefits of the Sixth Pay Commission.
Payment of arrears amount
The decision was given in favor of the para teacher by Himachal Pradesh High Court. The Elementary Education Department has implemented the decision taken by the State High Court in favor of Para Teacher. Orders have been issued by the Directorate to the Principal and Head Master for release of long leave of the petitioner teachers. A letter has been written to school heads by the Director of Elementary Education. The letter also contains a list of 175 teachers. To whom the arrear amount will be paid.
Benefit of 3% increment also
Himachal Directorate of Elementary Education has said that the para teacher has to pay the arrears of the contractual period from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2010. With the issuance of the order, teachers will now also be given the benefit of three percent increment.
Let us tell you that the case of para teachers was pending for a long time. For which teachers were continuously fighting for their rights. Only after the decision is taken in their favor, the Education Department has given instructions to the schools to release the arrears and other benefits. Also, all teachers will be given the benefit of Sixth Pay Commission.
Salary will increase by this much
As per the order to para teachers, TGT will get Rs 10300 including Rs 3600 salary and 3% increment while PGT teachers will be provided Rs 10300 including Rs 4200 and 3% increment on time. Teachers on C&V will be provided Rs 10300 including Rs 3200 and 3% increment.
