3 days off, 4 working days

According to the new labor code, employees will be made to work only 4 days a week. However, a total of 48 hours of work will have to be done in a week. That is, this will increase the daily working hour. Now you have to work 12 hours a day. There will also be a total break time of 1 hour daily.

Will get long leave in 6 months

Till now it was a rule that if an employee has to take long leave due to any reason, then he is required to work 240 days in a year. In the new rules, there is talk of reducing the minimum working days for leave to 180. That is, if you have been working for 6 months, then you can apply for long leave.

Women will not work in night shift

Women have also been given special attention in the new labor code. According to the rules, now no company will be able to get women to work in night shift by giving excuse of their need. Night duty can be imposed only if a woman has consent, she is comfortable in night shift.

Salary rules change

There is also talk of change in salary rules. There will also be a change in the in hand salary of the employees. After this code, the PF contribution will increase, due to which they will get more benefit on retirement. Apart from this, the rules for getting the amount of gratuity will also be changed. Where till now only those who worked for 5 years had the right to get gratuity, then those who worked 1 year from now will also be able to get gratuity.
