Bank of Baroda New FD Scheme: Bank of Baroda, included in the list of big government banks of the country, recently launched a new fixed deposit scheme. BOB started FD on 7 April in the name of bob Square Drive Deposit Scheme. The bank was offering interest at the rate of 7.15 percent per annum on this, but now the bank has reduced the interest on this FD. This scheme is for a period of 444 days, which was similar to the Amrit Vrishti scheme of SBI Bank. SBI’s special scheme is for 444 days. These new rates have come into effect from 5 May 2025.
Interest rate in BOB Square Drive Deposit Scheme
General citizens were being offered 7.15% annual interest, which has been reduced to 7.10 percent. Senior citizens were being offered 7.65% annual interest, which has been reduced to 7.60 percent. Apart from this, super senior citizens are being given 7.70 percent interest instead of 7.75% annual interest. The bank has reduced the interest on this FD by 0.05 percent.

- 7 days to 14 days – 4.00 percent for general public; 4.50 percent for senior citizens
- 15 days to 45 days – 4.00 percent for general public; 4.50 percent for senior citizens
- 46 days to 90 days – 5.50 percent for general public; 6 per cent for senior citizens
- 91 days to 180 days – 5.60 per cent for general public; 6.10 per cent for senior citizens
- 181 days to 210 days – 5.75 per cent for general public; 6.25 per cent for senior citizens
- 211 days to 270 days – 6.25 per cent for general public; 6.75 per cent for senior citizens
- 271 days and above and less than 1 year – 6.50 per cent for general public; 7 per cent for senior citizens
- 1 year – 6.80 per cent for general public; 7.30 per cent for senior citizens
- More than 1 year and less than 400 days – 6.80 per cent for general public; 7.40 per cent for senior citizens
- More than 400 days and up to 2 years – 6.80 per cent for general public; 7.40 percent for senior citizens
- More than 2 years and upto 3 years – 7.00 percent for general public; 7.50 percent for senior citizens
- More than 3 years and upto 5 years – 6.80 percent for general public; 7.30 percent for senior citizens
- More than 5 years to 10 years – 6.50 percent for general public; 7.50 percent for senior citizens
- More than 10 years (Court Order Scheme) – 6.25 percent for general public; 6.75 percent for senior citizens
- 444 days – (Square Drive Deposit Scheme) – 7.10 percent for general public; 7.60 percent for senior citizens
