NABARD will distribute crop loan of Rs 1.20 lakh crore in the current financial year to farmers

In the Corona period, several types of efforts are being made by the government to recover the damage done to farming and farming. Farmers should continue their farming operations continuously, so the government wants to provide them all kinds of benefits. The government provides subsidy to farmers on agricultural equipment and sometimes on crops, which benefits them. At the same time, economic package was also announced by the government to help the farmers overcome this crisis and make them self-sufficient. In this economic package, crops of many states are to be promoted and at the same time they are also prepared for export.



In order to provide relief to the farmers in the midst of this crisis going through Kovid-19, the National Agricultural Rural Development Bank (NABARD) has once again moved forward. In the current financial year at the time of crisis, NABARD will distribute crop loans of Rs 1.20 lakh crore. According to the bank, this will help the farmers to meet the expenditure related to agricultural production. NABARD is the apex agricultural institute of the country and every year it disburses an amount of 90,000 crore as crop loan at concessional interest rate. According to a senior NABARD official, the bank will distribute a loan of Rs 1.20 lakh crore in the current financial year. At the same time, it was informed that a loan of Rs 40,000 crore has already been distributed by the bank.

Bank officials were addressing a program of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He also said that due to Corona epidemic, there has been a lot of change in agriculture these days. In such a situation, with the help of one lakh crore rupees agricultural infrastructure fund under self-sufficient India package, it will strengthen the infrastructure in the region. Along with this, giving information by NABARD, it has been said that there is a provision to spend 10,000 crores in this current financial year and Rs 30,000 crores every year for the next three years.



Let us know that in the direction of fulfilling the Prime Minister’s dream of doubling the income of farmers by the year 2022, many types of works are being completed by NABARD. Financial assistance is also provided by NABARD to the farming producing organizations of the country.
