Mumbai Metro Rail Line: According to the reports, this metro line will start for the common people from 20 January i.e. Friday. PM Modi will inaugurate it on 19 January. A few days ago, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis jointly reviewed Metro Line 2A and 7 at Gundavali Metro Station.
Mumbai Metro Rail Line: PM Modi will inaugurate the new line of Mumbai Metro on 19th. PM Modi will inaugurate Navi Mumbai Metro Line 2A and Line 7. According to news agency ANI, the metro line has been constructed at a cost of Rs 12,600 crore.
Where will the metro run from
Line 2A will run from Dahisar to DN Nagar in Andheri West. There is an 18 kilometer long route, on which 17 stations have been built. This metro is Andheri (West), Pahari Goregaon, Lower Malad, Malad (West), Eksar, Mandapeshwar, Kandarpada, Upper Dahisar and Dahisar (East), Lower Oshiwara, Goregaon (West), Valnai, Dahanukarwadi, Kandivali (West), Pahari Among the stations, it will stop at Eksar and Borivali (West) stations.
Second route
Line 7 will run from Dahisar East to Gundavali, Andheri East. This line is 16 and a half kilometer long. 13 stations have been built on this line. This metro will stop at Gundavali, Mogra, Jogeshwari (East), Goregaon (East), Aarey, Dindori, Kurar, Akurli, Poisar, Magathane, Devipada, National Park and Ovaripada metro stations.
Metro at an interval of 10-10 minutes
According to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), the six-coach metro service will be available in eight minutes during peak hours. And during non-peak hours it will run at an interval of 10 minutes.
How much ticket
Tickets for both the new lines will be priced from Rs 10 to Rs 50. The prices are fixed purely on the basis of distance.
- For 0-3 km – Rs 10
- For 3-12 km – Rs 20
- For 12-18 km – Rs 30
- For 18-24 km – Rs 40
- For 24-30 km – Rs 50
