Especially keeping in mind the difficult period of coronavirus infection, PM Narendra Modi has changed the rules for withdrawing money from PF.

After the new rule, the PF account holder will not have to wait for 3 to 7 days to withdraw money. Now PF money will come in your account in an hour. The government has changed the rules so that, in times of emergency, your money can be useful to you.

Now you can withdraw Rs 1 lakh from your Employees Provident Fund (EPF) from Advance PF balance. You can withdraw this money in case of any kind of medical emergency. To take advantage of this service, you just have to show the cost that you are withdrawing money due to emergency.

Earlier, EPFO ​​​​can withdraw money from EPF at the time of medical emergency. You used to get this after paying the medical bill but this medical advance is different from the earlier service. You do not have to pay any bills in this. All you have to do is apply and the money will be transferred to your account.

First of all click on this link www.epfindia.gov.in

On the home page of the website, there will be a tab of COVID-19 on the right side. By clicking on this tab, you can take advance claim online.

– https://unifiedportalmem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface

– Go to Online Services >> Claim (Form-31,19,10C & 10D)

– Enter and verify the last 4 digits of your bank account

– Click on Proceed for Online Claim

Select PF Advance from the drop down (Form 31)

Choose your reason. Enter required amount and upload scan copy of check and enter your address


Click on Get Aadhaar OTP and type OTP received on Aadhaar linked mobile

– Your claim has been filed
