Buddha Purnima is an important religious and cultural festival. According to the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), this holiday is in most states. Banks are going to remain closed in states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal.
When will the banks be closed due to Saturday and Sunday
Banks will also remain closed in May due to regular weekly holidays. These holidays will be closed on all Sundays i.e. 4, 11, 18 and 25 May. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays i.e. 10 and 24 May.

Yes, during these holidays, customers can still transact money, make bill payments and use other digital services through UPI, IMPS, net banking and mobile banking apps. However, bank branches will not be functioning, so customers are advised to complete important work in advance so that there is no problem.
