Ministry of Defense Recruitment 2021: Indian Coast Guard (ICG) under the Ministry of Defense has issued a notification for the recruitment of various posts. All eligible male candidates can apply online for ICG Recruitment 2021 through official website joinindiancoastguard.gov.in from 4 January 2022 to 14 January 2022.
According to the official notification, through this process, 260 posts of Navik (General Duty), 35 posts of Navik (Domestic Branch), 13 posts of Mechanical, 9 posts of Mechanical (Electrical) and Mechanical (Electrical) in Indian Coast Guard through this process. A total of 322 vacancies including 5 posts of Electronics will be recruited. Candidates will be selected for recruitment to these posts in Indian Coast Guard on the basis of written examination, physical fitness test, document verification etc.
Candidate should be born between 1st August 2000 to 31st July 2004 for Sailor (General Duty)/ Mechanical Posts and 1st October 2000 to 30 September 2004 for Sailor (Domestic Branch). However, relaxation in upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules. Apart from this, for recruitment to the posts of Sailor (General Duty) candidates should have passed class 12th with Maths and Physics subjects from a recognized board. Whereas, 10th pass can also apply for Navik (Domestic Branch). The educational qualification has been set differently for all the posts, so candidates can check the official notification for detailed information.
The selected candidates on the posts of sailors in the Indian Coast Guard will be given a basic salary of Rs 21700 per month under Pay Level 3. Whereas, for mechanical posts, a salary of Rs 29200 per month will be available under Pay Level 5.
