Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra, which began after 5 months, will be able to make 2,000 series daily darshan

After five months of bandh, the doors of Mata Vaishno Devi at Jammu (Jammu) have opened to devotees from today. All religious places in Jammu and Kashmir along with Mata Vaishno Devi have been opened from today. However, at present, the scholars will be allowed to visit in a limit.



The court of Mata Vaishno Devi was closed to the common people for the last 5 months due to corona virus. But the Jammu and Kashmir administration has opened the court to the general public from August 16 today. Now the journey of Mata Vaishno Devi will run 24×7 i.e. day and night seven days a week.

According to Ramesh Kumar, CHIEF Executive Officer, Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, 2,000 devotees have been allowed to visit daily in the first week of the re-commencement of the pilgrimage. It will consist of 1,900 devotees from Jammu and Kashmir and 100 people from outside.



The visiting scholars will have to register online. Counter registration is currently closed. Only those with registrations will be allowed to travel.



Devotees will be required to download the Arogya Setu App (Aarogya Setu) in their mobile phones. Rules such as Face Mask and Social distancing must be followed. During the yatra, devotees will be scanning through thermal image scanners at several places. Children under the age of 10, pregnant women and people above the age of 60 will not be allowed to travel.
