Out of the 12 digits of the masked Aadhar card, 8 digits remain hidden. At the same time, the last four digits are visible. Let us tell that XXXX-XXXX is written in the first 8 digits.
Get user license
The central government has also made it clear in its notice that non-licensed private entities cannot collect your Aadhaar, nor can they keep it with them. This includes unlicensed hotels and cinema halls. Please note that only such private institutions can submit a copy of your Aadhar card, which has obtained a user license for Aadhaar from UIDAI.
How to download Masked Aadhaar ?
Step 1. First of all, click on the official website of UIDAI for this. After that click on Aadhaar Download option.
Step 2. You have to enter Aadhar Enrollment Number or Aadhar Number here.
Step 3 . After this, you will also have to click on the Masked Aadhaar option.
Step 4. After that, click on Request OTP option. After this, OTP will come on your registered mobile number, enter it.
Step 5. Then click on the Aadhaar download option.
Step 6. After this your masked Aadhar card will be easily downloaded.
