LPG price changed : New rates of LPG gas cylinders implemented across the country, see full list

LPG prices 1 January 2024: Petroleum companies have today given the gift of reduction in cylinder prices to LPG consumers. New rates of LPG cylinder have been released today. LPG has become cheaper from Delhi to Patna.


LPG Price 1 January 2024: The new year 2024 started with a cut in the price of LPG cylinder. Oil marketing companies have released new rates of LPG cylinders today. Today, LPG cylinder has become cheaper from January 1, 2024. There has been a slight change in the prices of commercial cylinders today, while there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders.

Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in 2024 i.e. this year. A major cut was expected as it was an election year. Because in 2019, petroleum companies gave a New Year gift to domestic LPG consumers. The price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 120.50. In Delhi, the cylinder came down to Rs 689 from Rs 809.50.

This time it did not happen. The reduction in commercial cylinder rates today is a candy as a New Year gift. Today in Delhi, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1755.50. Earlier it was Rs 1757.00. Today it has become cheaper by only Rs 1.50. Similarly, in Kolkata this cylinder has become worth Rs 1869.00. Earlier in December it was Rs 1868.50. There has been an increase of 50 paise today. Commercial cylinder which was available for Rs 1710 in Mumbai will be available for Rs 1708.50 from today. In Chennai it will now be sold for Rs 1924.50 instead of Rs 1929.

Domestic cylinder rates

Even today, domestic cylinders are available at the rate of 30 August 2023. Currently this cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 903. According to the website of Indian Oil, the last huge reduction in cylinder rates was on 30 August 2023. It became cheaper by Rs 200 from Rs 1103 to Rs 903. Today the domestic cylinder is priced at Rs 929 in Kolkata, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 918.50 in Chennai.
