LPG Price Today: As on the first of every month, oil companies have released new LPG cylinder prices. The prices of domestic and commercial gas cylinders have changed for June 2026. While the price of domestic cylinders hasn’t seen much relief for the general public, the price of commercial cylinders has seen a slight change in some cities. You can see today’s LPG rates for June 24th here.
What are the latest rates for domestic gas cylinders?
In Delhi, a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder costs around ₹853. In Mumbai, it costs around ₹852. In Kolkata and Chennai, the price of a domestic cylinder remains around ₹880.
New prices for 19-kg
commercial LPG cylinders: In Delhi, a 19-kg cylinder is selling for around ₹1,730. In Mumbai, its price is around ₹1,680. In Kolkata and Chennai, it has reached ₹1,850.
The price of 5-kg cylinders also increased.
Recently, the price of 5-kg FTL (Free Trade) LPG cylinders also increased. In Delhi, its price now stands at approximately ₹821.50. The new rates have been implemented from June 1, 2026.
Why do LPG prices change?
LPG cylinder prices depend on the price of crude oil and gas in the international market. The rupee’s value against the dollar and transportation costs also play a significant role. If gas prices rise globally, the impact is felt in India. This is why gas cylinder rates fluctuate monthly.
