LPG Price rate changed: Gas cylinder cheaper by up to Rs 115, know what is the price today

Government oil companies have reduced the prices of commercial gas cylinders for the fifth consecutive month after reviewing the prices of LPG cylinders on Tuesday, 1 November. Companies have continued to cut the prices of commercial cylinders since July. However, the prices of domestic gas cylinders have not changed even today and in most cities its price is running above Rs. 1 thousand.



New Delhi. Government oil companies have made a big cut in the prices of LPG cylinders on Tuesday morning. Oil companies have cut the price of commercial gas cylinders released on November 1, 2022 by Rs 115. After this, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have come down in all the major cities of the country including Delhi, Mumbai. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders since July 6, 2022.

As you know, oil companies review the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month and even today after this review it was decided to reduce the prices of commercial gas cylinders. Commercial gas cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 115.50 from 1st November. The new price will be applicable on a cylinder weighing 19 kg, while the price of a 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder remains constant.


State-run oil companies have been continuously cutting the prices of commercial gas cylinders since July and this is the fifth consecutive month when its rates have come down . After the latest reduction, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in the capital Delhi has come down to Rs 1,744. Apart from this, commercial gas cylinder has reached Rs 1,696 in Mumbai, Rs 1,846 in Kolkata and Rs 1,893 in Chennai.

LPG cylinder cheaper by Rs 257 in five months

Earlier, state-owned oil companies had reduced the rate of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 8.50 in July, Rs 36 in August, Rs 91.50 in September and Rs 25.50 in October. In this way, this is also the biggest deduction of the last five months. Oil companies have made a big cut of Rs 257 in the price of commercial gas cylinders during the last five months. This can make food cheaper at restaurants and dhabas.

No relief in cooking gas

On the one hand, state-owned oil companies have continued to cut the prices of commercial gas cylinders for five consecutive months, while the prices of domestic gas cylinders have remained stable since July. In Delhi, a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is currently available for Rs 1,053, while in Mumbai it is priced at Rs 1,052.50. In Chennai too, the price of LPG cylinder is Rs 1,068.50 and the maximum is being sold in Kolkata for Rs 1,790.
