LPG Price Cut: LPG gas cylinder became cheaper on May 1, know details

LPG Price: Modi government has given a gift to the common people. Today is the first day of the month of May. LPG cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders.

LPG Price Cut on 1st May 2024: Modi government has given a gift to the common people. Today is the first day of the month of May. LPG cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders. Companies have reduced the price on cylinders by Rs 20. Companies have not made any change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinders. According to the IOCL website, these changed rates have been implemented from May 1, 2024.

Commercial gas cylinder prices reduced by Rs 20

Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 20 from today. The price in Delhi has now decreased by Rs 19 to Rs 1745.50. Cylinder rates reduced by Rs 20 in Kolkata. Now the cylinder will be available here for Rs 1859. In Mumbai, the cylinder will be available at Rs 1698.50, reduced by Rs 19. The price of cylinder in Chennai has become Rs 1911.

Domestic cylinder prices did not change

There is no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder. It is available for ₹ 803 in Delhi, ₹ 829 in Kolkata, ₹ 802.50 in Mumbai and ₹ 818.50 in Chennai. Its price in Delhi for general customers remains Rs 803 while for Ujjwala beneficiaries its price remains Rs 603.

These were the prices of commercial cylinders on April 1

Last month, on April 1, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of commercial cylinders by more than Rs 30. After this cut, its price in Delhi became Rs 1764.50 on April 1. Before that i.e. in March, the price of commercial cylinder was Rs 1795. On April 1, commercial gas cylinder was priced at Rs 1879 in Kolkata, Rs 1717.50 in Mumbai, Rs 1930 in Chennai.
