LPG price changed : New rates of LPG gas cylinders implemented across the country, see full list

LPG Price 1 October: LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 209 in Delhi. Whereas in Kolkata the price has increased by Rs 203.50, the consumers of Mumbai have got a shock of Rs 202. It became cheaper by Rs 157 last month


LPG latest Price: LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 209 in Delhi from today during the festive season. Whereas in Kolkata the price has increased by Rs 203.50, the consumers of Mumbai have got a shock of Rs 202. In Chennai also the rate per cylinder has been increased by Rs 203. This increase has happened in 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder. There has been no change in the rates of domestic LPG cylinders.

Relief of Rs 157 was received last month

Let us tell you that after giving relief to the domestic consumers of LPG last month, now the Modi government has given a big relief to the commercial cylinder users. The rates of 19 kg commercial cylinders were reduced on September 1. In Delhi, the price of commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 157 to Rs 1522.50. But, today it has become expensive once again.

In Delhi it will be available for Rs 1731.50 instead of Rs 1522.50 and in Kolkata from today it will be available for Rs 1839.50 instead of Rs 1636. Similarly, earlier its price in Mumbai was Rs 1482 and now it has become Rs 1684. Whereas, its price in Chennai has become Rs 1898.

Let us tell you that on August 30, the price of domestic LPG cylinder (LPG) was reduced by Rs 200. After this decision of the government, people got great relief. Now 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is being sold for Rs 903 in Delhi. Customers have now started getting cylinders at a cheaper price of Rs 200 than before.

Today domestic cylinders will be available at this price

The prices of non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinders have come down to September 2014 rates. According to Indian Oil, on September 1, 2014, domestic LPG cylinder rates were Rs 901 in Delhi, Rs 945 in Kolkata, Rs 926.5 in Mumbai and Rs 902.50 in Chennai. Now even after October 2023 i.e. 9 years, it is Rs 903 in Delhi, Rs 929 in Kolkata, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 918.50 in Chennai.
