MP Govt LPG Cylinder Application: In Madhya Pradesh, refill cylinders were made available to women for Rs 450 on the occasion of Sawan. Now the scheme has been implemented in the future also to provide cylinders at lower prices every month.
New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh government has started the application process to provide LPG cylinders to the people of the state at the price of Rs 450. The government had said that offline applications will start in the camp offices from September 15. The government will pay to meet the losses incurred by oil companies on providing cylinders at cheaper rates. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also released a video message regarding the scheme.
While issuing a video message, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has said that the beneficiary women of Ujjwala Yojana and the beneficiary women of Ladli Brahmin Yojana will get refill cylinder for only Rs 450. Women who have not applied can apply from September 15. These applications will be similar to the applications of Ladli Brahmin Yojana.
In August, on the occasion of Sawan month, the Madhya Pradesh government had provided refill cylinders for Rs 450 to the women beneficiaries of Ladli Brahmin Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana. Now the scheme has been implemented in the future also to provide cylinders at lower prices every month.
For refill cylinder, the fixed rate of gas agency will have to be paid.
The beneficiary women will have to pay the price of refill cylinder at the selling price of the oil company, later the oil company will transfer the subsidy amount to the accounts of the beneficiaries. Meaning, if there is an LPG cylinder worth Rs 900, then on refilling it, the beneficiary will have to pay only Rs 900 to the gas agency or oil company, later Rs 450 will be returned to the beneficiary’s account.

Where to apply for LPG cylinder at cheap price
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said in the video message that to get cheap cylinder, women will have to follow the application process of Ladli Yojana. Application forms will be available at Gram Panchayat, ward office or camp site.
