Bank of Baroda has also made some changes in the rules of check payment. The Bank has made changes in its Check Payment Rules with regard to Clearance following the RBI guidelines. The bank has told its customers that from August 1, the positive pay system will be mandatory for payment of checks with an amount of Rs 5 lakh or more. If this is not the case then the check payment will not be able to be done.


Reserve Bank of India introduced positive pay system for checks in the year 2020 to curb the increasing cases of banking frauds. In this, some key information may be required for payment of more than 50 thousand rupees through cheque. Also, in this system, the information of the check can be given through message, mobile app, internet banking or ATM.

Due to festivals and holidays, there will be 13 bank holidays in different states in the month of August. Let us tell that in the next month big festivals like Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi are coming.
