LPG cylinder price hiked again: Big news! Domestic LPG cylinder costlier by Rs 50, check latest rate

Petroleum companies have made a big change in the prices of LPG gas cylinders on Wednesday morning. The price of LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 50, while a small cylinder of 5 kg has also become costlier by Rs 18. However, the prices of commercial gas cylinders have been cut for the second time within a fortnight.



New Delhi. The common man, already burning in the fire of inflation, will now have to bear the heat of the LPG cylinder. Government petroleum companies have increased the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders by Rs 50 on Wednesday morning.

According to petroleum companies, the rate of domestic gas cylinder (LPG) has now increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1,053 per cylinder in the national capital Delhi. Earlier, the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder was Rs 1,003 in Delhi. In the last one year in Delhi, the prices of LPG cylinders have increased by about Rs 170. Its price had increased by Rs 834.50 to Rs 1,003, which has now increased by Rs 50 more.


Earlier on May 19 in Delhi, the price of 14.2 kg cylinder was increased by Rs. Earlier on May 7, the price of domestic gas cylinder was increased by Rs 50 and its price reached Rs 999.50. On 22 March also its prices had increased by Rs 50. However, there was no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders from October 2021 to February 2022 and remained stable at Rs 899.50.

5 kg cylinder too expensive

Petroleum companies have also increased the prices of 5 kg LPG cylinders this morning. Its price has increased by Rs 18 per cylinder. Apart from this, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been cut by Rs 8.50. At the beginning of this month itself, there was a big cut in its prices and the commercial cylinder has become even cheaper.
