Veena Kumari, Chief Manager, Coordination and Development (Bihar-Jharkhand) of IOC said that the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has been started in Bihar. Application can be made for this. It can be availed under the rules prescribed in the scheme. Explain that under the Ujjwala scheme, LPG connections are given to women from economically-socially backward families.
In the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the connection will also be available without address proof.

Dr. Ramnaresh Singha, General Secretary, Bihar LPG Distributors Association said that a major change in the second phase of Ujjwala is that this time LPG connection can be given to the beneficiary even without address proof. Under this, cylinder and regulator are given free of cost. Also, cooking gas, stove, pipe can be taken on loan. Loan money can be paid through LPG subsidy. The LPG subsidy for this month has been fixed at Rs 79.26.

To get the LPG connection under the Ujjwala scheme, go to the gas agency only with the necessary documents. There are a total of six required documents for this.
