After the Delhi government decided to return to the old excise policy, its Excise Department has decided to issue licenses to shops for wholesale sale of Indian and foreign liquor from September 1. The government had last week extended the period of existing retail and wholesale licenses till August 31. These licenses were issued under the excise policy of 2021-22.
