The Central Government has given a big relief for the pensioners on Thursday. The deadline for submission of annual identity card or life certificate to be submitted by the government to continue getting pension has been extended by one month i.e. till June 25. But this decision will be applicable only to the pensioners belonging to the Ministry of Defense. However, earlier these pensioners had to submit the life certificate by May 25.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement in this regard that after examining the data up to May 25, 2022, it has been observed that 34,636 pensioners on the Sparsh portal (where the data of Defense pensioners are kept) have submitted their annual identification online and related information. Not completed till November 2021 through banks. Due to this, the deadline has now been extended for such pensioners. Whereas in April 2022 monthly pension was deposited through a special lump sum rebate to 58,275 pensioners (out of 4.47 lakh migrated pensioners on SPARSH).

Know How to Submit Life Certificate
- Digital Jeevan Pramaan Online or Jeevan Pramaan Face App allows Android users to submit Life Certificate.
- If you do not have the app, then install it from the play store or go to the website of jeevanpramaan.gov.in.
- SPARSH Pensioners select “Defence – PCDA (P) Allahabad” and “SPARSH – PCDA (Pension) Allahabad”.
- The Legacy Pensioner shall be referred to the concerned Authority “Defence Jt. Select “CDA (AF) Suboroto Park” or “Defence – PCDA (P) Allahabad” or “Defence – PCDA (Navy).
- After selecting autority you can submit life certificate.

Legacy pensioners can continue to update their Jeevan Praman with their respective banks.
