LIC New Credit Card: LIC has come up with its credit card. IDFC First Bank, LIC Cards and MasterCard have launched two co-branded credit cards – LIC Classic and LIC Select.


LIC New Credit Card: LIC has come up with its credit card. IDFC First Bank, LIC Cards and MasterCard have launched two co-branded credit cards – LIC Classic and LIC Select. Customers are getting many types of offers on these two new credit cards of LIC. Benefits like low interest rate, zero-joining fee, reward points and accidental cover up to Rs 5 lakh are available on LIC’s newly launched credit card.

Don’t need LIC policy

Here let us tell you that even if you do not have a LIC policy, you can still apply for LIC credit card. It is not necessary to have a LIC policy for these credit cards. However, if you have an insurance policy, you will get reward points if you pay its premium through LIC credit card.

LIC Classic Credit Card

According to the website of IDFC First Bank, these benefits are available on LIC Classic Credit Card.

  • Zero joining charge and zero annual fee.
  • Interest rates start from 0.75% per month or 9% per annum. It can be as high as 3.5% per month or 42% per annum.
  • Interest free cash withdrawal service will be available for 48 days at domestic and international ATMs.
  • For EMI you will have to pay a charge of Rs 199 per transaction.
  • Late payment fee will be 15 percent of the total payment. This is minimum Rs 100 and maximum Rs 1,250.
  • Forex markup fee for all international transactions will be 3.5 percent.

LIC Select Credit Card

According to the website of IDFC First Bank, these benefits are available on LIC Select Credit Card.

  • Zero joining charge and zero annual fee.
