Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Yojana: Maharashtra’s Ladki Bahin Yojana is in the news these days. Recently, rumors have been circulating that the Maharashtra government is about to close the scheme. However, the Deputy Chief Minister himself has now addressed all the claims surrounding the scheme. He has also provided an update on the e-KYC deadline.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde stated that the “Chief Minister Manjhi Ladki Bahin Yojana” has not been discontinued, but is continuing as before.

He said that this scheme helped the Mahayuti alliance win the elections in Maharashtra. This scheme provides financial assistance to women. Therefore, this scheme will never be discontinued. However, beneficiaries will now have to complete e-KYC for the next installment.

What is the last date for e-KYC?

If you are a beneficiary of the Ladki Bahin Yojana (Ladki Bahin Yojana), you will need to complete e-KYC for the next installment. Failure to complete e-KYC may result in a delay in receiving your funds. The last date for e-KYC is November 18, 2025. Maharashtra’s Women and Child Development Minister, Aditi Tatkare, stated that it is mandatory to complete e-KYC before November 18.

How to complete e-KYC for the Ladki Bahin Yojana

1. First, visit the website ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.

2. Then, click on eKYC on the homepage.

3. Enter your Aadhaar number in the e-KYC form, enter the captcha code, and tick the “Yes, I agree” checkbox and click the “Send OTP” button.

4. An OTP will then be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter the OTP and submit.

5. The system will now check if your KYC has already been completed.

6. If it has already been completed, the message “eKYC is already completed” will appear on the screen.

7. If it hasn’t been completed yet, the system will check if your Aadhaar number is listed for the scheme.

8. If it is listed, the next step will open and you can proceed.
