New Delhi: Post Office Recruitment 2021: The postal department is running rotation process for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak vacancies in various postal circles spread across the country. Presently, the department has issued a notification for a total of 4269 vacancies of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in various post offices located in Karnataka and Gujarat Postal Circle. Out of these, 2443 vacancies have been declared in Karnataka circle and 1826 vacancies for Gujarat circle. The process of online application for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks in both the circles has started from December 21, 2020 and candidates can apply through the official Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment Portal, appost.in till 20 January 2021.
It should be qualified
The minimum qualification prescribed for Gramin Dak Sevaks in the postal department has been passed 10th standard (High School or Secondary). Also, candidates should have studied the local language of their respective state up to 10th standard. The local language for Gujarat circle is Gujarati and Kannada for Karnataka. In addition, the candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years on 21 December 2020.

Candidates can apply on the Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment Portal, appost.in. The application process has three stages. In the first phase, the candidates have to register. After this, the application fee will have to be paid in the second phase. After this, the online application process will have to be completed in the third phase. Selection will be done on the basis of 10th marks
Candidates should note that the candidates for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak in Gujarat and Karnataka postal circles will be selected on the basis of 10th marks. Candidates with more than 10th qualification will not be given any weightage.
